Ramping up publicity for her new album, Rihanna posed for GQ in nothing but her tattoos and black panties. Her aptly titled 7th album Unapologetic alludes to a fearless artiste who is ready to push the envelope way pass racy.
Early reviews of Unapologetic suggest that just like her body, the album is hot! The official first single, Diamonds, is already a Youtube and radio favourite and the album is on track to follow the multi-platinum success of her previous albums. Which begs the question, “Robin, you are beautiful, talented and extremely famous. Do you really have to bare it all to sell an album?” She answer in the GQ interview.
“That comes from my culture. That’s just the way it’s always been, and I think that for people, especially in America, they make it like the forbidden fruit, but that only makes kids more curious….I was a lot more naive about the way I moved and the way I was being perceived. The more you hear people talk about ‘Oh, you’re a sex symbol,’ it just makes you think, ‘Why are you saying that?’ And I figured it out.”
